I'm Available

I was the one who asked for your phone number. It's a bit funny, isn't it?

Our professor divided us into groups. My group was assigned to be your support group. We were tasked to give you everything you need for the mock trial, in so far as the moot court is concerned.

Me: Hi! Let me save your number so, I could follow-up on what you need during your mock trial.
You: I have two numbers. Which one do you prefer?
Me: Let me save both. It wouldn't hurt, would it?

Weeks passed and your presentation was fast approaching. I had to send you a message.

Me: Hi! Do you need anything? Clock? Gavel? Robe? And I was wondering if you could do me a favor.
You: No worries. What is it?
Me: I'll be the stenographer during the trial and I was wondering if you could give me your questions and answers beforehand. It would be of great help.
You: No problem. What is your email address? Let me send you what you need.

And so you sent me an email.

here it is..hope its helpful...anjan na cross ex and direx namin..although yung crossex wala ata answers..

you take care now and hangtight..=)

After reading your message, I thought, maybe you were a nice guy after all. Even saying take care. You were nice and so in return, I had to make sure you had everything you needed on the day of the trial. After all, that's what I was really supposed to do. So on the day of the trial, I had to call you to double check that everything you needed was there.

Me: (calling your GLOBE number) Hi! I was trying to call your SUN number but it says you were not available.
You: Huh? I am available!
Me: Haha... Maybe you are but your phone isn't.
You: No, really, I am available.

The call ended with the two of us laughing. Were you flirting? I don't know for sure. But I found you to be very witty.

The trial. I think it went well because we both passed that subject.

After that, there was a long silence. You didn't text me neither did I text you. There was no reason to do so since our tasks were both over.

Then after a month, one text message changed everything....

Your Eyes

They are the sexiest I've seen.

You are legally blind. With no iris on either eye, you can't read farther than 2 inches. And yet, yours are the most expressive. They make me fall for you every single time.

I knew there was something wrong with your eyes but I could not figure it out. My guess was that you had a lazy eye. You wouldn't say hi to me when we meet at the corridor even if we've already seen each other in class a couple of times. It was either you couldn't see me or you were really just a snob. I later found out, you just really couldn't see me even if I was just a few feet away.

When we fight, I never want to look in your eyes. Because I'm always almost sure I'd say sorry and kiss you. That's how powerful your eyes are.

Iris or no iris, your eyes are the sexiest.

I love you.

Long Weekends

I used to love long weekends. They give me a chance to spend more time with my loved ones. Depending on the weather, long weekends would normally lead to out of town trips.

That was before. Not anymore.

You have to be home by 10:30 every night. Your parents would require you to text them about your exact whereabouts every 15 minutes or so. They care for you. I understand. You can't go on out of town trips without telling them months before hand. And even if you tell them, it would still be subject to their approval.

Like what you said, you are at their mercy. Why? Because they pay your tuition fee. They give you your allowance. You basically depend on them for food and shelter.

But you're not a baby. You are almost in your 30's.

Sometimes, I laugh about these things. Only to find myself crying after.

In a desperate attempt to be with you and spend more time with you, I would normally end up bringing you home. The time we spend on the way to your house are precious minutes I just don't want to waste. I'd sleep over at your place. Only because your parents wouldn't allow you to sleep over at mine. I'm sorry that you have to sleep in the living room every single time. You can't sleep in your room if I'm there. I'm sorry. But those are sacrifices we have to make if we want to spend more time together.

But we are not teenagers anymore. In fact, a few more years and I probably won't be able to bear a child without it being considered as a high-risk pregnancy. We are old. At least, I think I am.

You can't sleep over in my apartment last night. You said your parents won't allow you. Even if it's a holiday, they won't understand. And as expected, you hurriedly left at 8:30 just so you won't be late for your 10:30 curfew.

I love you. I really do. But sometimes I wish things are not the same. I wish you could be with me more. Not because your parents approved of it but because you finally decided it's time not to ask for their permission anymore.

I love you just the same.

Good Morning To You, Too.

I love you. Sorry.

That was your first text this morning. Good morning to you, too.

You're saying sorry because we had a long discussion last night over YM. The topic was not new. In fact, we have been talking about for ages.

You are the youngest of 3 children. You are in your late 20's but you still live with your parents. It's understandable. One of your sisters is now based in another country while the other one is living on her own as well. Both are not married. Just like you.

You are a senior law student. I've heard you say, more than a million times that you will leave your house as soon as you can, when you're ready. At first, I though you'll be ready after you graduate. But then you made it clear, it wasn't the case. You said you will be ready when you could already fend for yourself. That equates  to roughly 3 more years.

Do you remember when I told you that you should not leave your parents? Right now, aside from your 2 househelps, you are the only one who lives with them. Their life will be so lonely if you will leave the house. You said it won't be a problem even if you do get your own place because you'll get them a driver and maybe some more househelps to take care of them. But then I said, they won't love them nor have the concern that a child could give.

It's every girls dream to have her own family and her own house. Who dreams of getting married and living with her in-laws after? I salute anyone who dreams of that. But what did I tell you? I'm willing to live with your parents. Simply because I know no one will take care of them. Somebody has to do it. And I'm very much willing to help you with that task.

I love them. I think you know that. I hope they do feel that, too.

So why do we always end our days arguing like last night?

Let me clear my head and let me tell you in a while.

Saturday 10-12

It's been over year since I fell in love with you.

Do you remember how it all started?

We were classmates. I have always looked forward to that class because our professor was one of my favorites. In law school, we seldom find professors who would come to class prepared. I bet you remember him. After all, how could you possibly forget his class? That's where we met.

And now, look at us. We've come a long way. It's been over a year. Who would have thought, right?

Everyday, I still fall for you and each time harder than the last.

I love you.

Let's Start

I'm not a writer.

But I have to do this.

I need a place to write about you and me.

I need this.
